This upcoming state championship is looking winnable for the Timberline Owls wrestling team. Last year’s champion team is still looking strong. They have only lost three of last year’s senior seniors, only two of which were starting.
NhWrestling on instagram has every single timberlane wrestler ranked in the top 5 in the state of NH. The competitors aren’t looking great either. Salem, who has been the main challenge for Timberlane, has graduated many of their strong starters.
This year’s timberline wrestling team has a tough lineup. Kaden Linehan, who is returning to wrestling after a year off was asked “do you think you can find a spot in this tough lineup?” Kaden responded with “I think I can squeeze in at 150.” Every one of the returning varsity wrestlers are ranked at least top 5 in the state of NH.
The team has many returning state placers and two state champs. Their chances of winning states is high. All they have to do is put in the work and get better every day. Captain Cole Seuss how he felt about this team’s chances at states “I think we are going to do what other teams do but do it better” every team is training for states this year but Timberlane is training harder and they are more disciplined.
This past year Timberlane took back the title and they intended to hold onto it for a while longer. Timberlane has a very tough schedule and it makes them better facing good team after good team they travel over NE and take on good teams. According to their state title it works.
