Another year goes by that Robert Kraft doesn’t get into the Hall of Fame. Robert Kraft, who has been owner of the Patriots since 1994, has been arguably the most successful owner in the history of the National Football League. Robert Kraft has appeared in 12 Super Bowls since owning the franchise, the most out of any franchise. He has won 6 Super Bowls, tied for the most out of any franchise.
Many celebrities and NFL players, coaches, and HoF voters had something to say on the hall passing on him again. One of them was Hall of Fame voter Gary Myers.
Gary Myers stated that “New voting process… is not working.” He noted that since 1995, Kraft has been to 11 Super Bowls and, as of Feb 2026, was competing for a 7th title, making the exclusion hard to justify.
After firing hall of fame coach Bill Parcells in 1997 after going to Superbowl XXXI, a highly criticized move at the time, Robert Kraft hired Pete Carroll. He stuck around for a few years before being replaced by Bill Belichick. The two would then draft Tom Brady in the 6th round of the 1999 NFL draft, who would end up being the greatest player in the history of the NFL. The three would win 6 Super Bowls after that until 2020, when Tom Brady left for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
After a couple of lackluster years from 2020-2023, Robert Krafr fired Bill Belichick. In 2024 Kraft hired former patriots linebacker Jerod Mayo as head coach and also drafted star quarterback Drake Maye. It was a disappointing year. The team went 4-13, which led to Kraft firing Jerod Mayo. The next year he hired Mike Vrabel. Now in 2025, the patriots went 14-3, the 2nd seed in the AFC, and went to the superbowl against Seattle. Nobody expected them to be that good.
Robert Kraft has gone to 12 superbowls with 3 different QB’s and head coaches.
“Robert Kraft and Bill Belichick should have been in the Hall of Fame on the first ballot. It’s now not so much two “snubs” as it is an institutional failure. The Hall has zero excuses not to change their voting system after this year’s unserious flop.” said Henry Mckenna, of Fox Sports.
With all this success it would be a no-brainer to be selected first ballot Hall of Famer. The winningest owner in NFL history didn’t get into the HOF. Even current Cowboys owner Jerry Jones got in the HOF, with only 3 superbowl wins back in the 1990’s. An anonymous man from Danville was asked about it.
“ I think it’s the stupidest thing ever, if the most successful owner in NFL history doesn’t get in then nobody should”, he criticized.
Robert Kraft has been eligible for the Hall of Fame since 2013 (wpri.com), and still hasn’t been selected.
