Drake is a 39 year old rapper from Ontario, Canada. It has been a very hot debate whether Aubrey Graham “Drake” should retire soon. Some fans have been saying that he is past his prime with his creativity and that he should exit peacefully. As many want him to retire he is still averaging 81-83 million monthly on the spotify charts. In an interview with the rapper Lil Yachty in 2023, Drake had hinted at a retirement saying, “I feel like I’m kind of introducing the concept in my mind of a grateful exit.” Although he has hinted at it he hasn’t fully said that he is going to retire.
When Drake releases music it commands the attention of a lot and has a lot of people listening to it and saying that he shouldn’t retire. Then a couple weeks or months later the attention is off of him and people are saying the opposite. The rapper T-Pain called out Drake for threatening to retire for a decade and has still been releasing music. Drake had nothing to respond to what T-Pain said.

This combined with Drake’s net worth of $250 Million has set him up for a very comfortable retirement if he would like to exit the music industry.
