Early in the morning on November 2nd, 2025, on 95 in Greenland NH, state troopers responded to a single vehicle accident in an active construction zone, the New Hampshire Department of Safety stated on their website. When the officers arrived at the scene, they determined that the driver had lost control of the vehicle. It is under investigation of how and why he had lost control. The car ended up in the middle of the median and the driver fled on foot towards the woods according to New Hampshire’s Deparment of Safetys episode.
To locate the driver, the State Police sent out their K-9 units and special enforcements. The New Hampshire Department of Safety reported at 1:53am about an hour later from when the crash initially happened that the driver was found casually walking along a utility access road. He was immediately taken into custody and has since been identified as 26 year old named Oliver Denelle from Narragansett, Rhode Island.
As a result of the crash, there was one lane closed down on 95 for about a half an hour while the wrecked car was being picked up and removed. According to WMUR, Denelle is being held in preventative detention at the Rockingham County Jail. This is holding him in custody before his trial to prevent any future crimes. His court date was scheduled for November 3rd, 2025, and he was charged with reckless conduct, reckless operation, conduct after an accident, resisting arrest, and operating without a valid license, according to the New Hampshire Department of Safety. This case remains under investigation.
