iPhone SE Review

Taking a step back is a good move to go forward. According to Apple’s Website the new iPhone SE has brought back the home button and touch ID. With three colors (red, white, and black), a portrait mode, a battery life of around 13 hours, and a fast charger that charges the phone in about an hour. With people complaining about the size of the newest iPhones, Apple made a great choice by releasing this phone to the public. With a starting price of $399 the phone is very affordable.

When I went to the Apple store, I personally got a chance to use this phone and play around with all of the features that the phone offers. The phone is at a good price and is a very fast and responsive phone when it comes to anything such as connecting to wifi, playing games, sending messages, and even watching videos. The phone also has great camera quality and compact size that makes it easier to fit in your pocket.

According to PCMag.com, “The iPhone SE couldn’t have come at a better time—it’s a knockout value for $399. If you’re looking for an iPhone, the only real reasons to pay more are if you really want a bigger screen and night mode. This is a terrific upgrade for anyone with an iPhone 7 or lower”. On Apple’s website, the Senior Vice President of Worldwide Marketing Phil Schiller said “The first iPhone SE was a hit with many customers who loved its unique combination of small size, high-end performance and affordable price; the new second-generation iPhone SE builds on that great idea and improves on it in every way — including our best-ever single-camera system for great photos and videos — while still being very affordable”.

A quote from tidbits.com states “First off, size matters. After every iPhone release over the last few years, conversations I had with friends and acquaintances who don’t follow the tech industry always led off with ‘Why doesn’t Apple make a smaller iPhone anymore?’ At first, I chalked it up to design trends, but more recently, I’ve resorted to joking, ‘Because Apple hates you and your tiny hands.’

Overall, the iPhone SE is a great phone because of all the improvements that it has made and how much Apple has paid attention to improve their old designs.
