Final Weeks of Senior Year

Jessica Dow

With Quarter Four starting in less then two weeks, the final days of high school are starting to approach the class of 2023. Although some are eager to get out of TRHS and move on with their life, there are still quite a few events that seniors need to keep an eye out for.

Biggest event coming up this Spring is Prom. Most teenage girls have been waiting half there life for this day, and this will be the second closest thing to their wedding day. Prom is May 19th and will be at Atkinson Country Club. Ticket sales are cheap this year and are cheaper if you buy it in a pair. Tickets are $50 for 1, and $90 for 2, and will be for sale the week before April break. Senior Class President, Jake Billicki is thrilled to be apart of the planning board for these events and make the last few months for seniors at TRHS memorable. “Horgan, Bird, and the rest of class exec are powering through the final details of upcoming events”. States Billicki.

Yearbooks are for sale now and are $89. Senior dues were already due along with cap and gown information. Class exec is still working on a date for Senior Skip day to stay up to date with the @trhs23 instagram account for further updates.

The week leading up to graduation there are events each night. 6/2 is Music Awards and the next morning 6/3 is Senior Breakfast (9 AM). For the next three following nights are 6/4 Dinner of Excellence (5:30 PM), 6/5 Senior Athletes (6 PM), and 6/6 Scholarship Night (6 PM). Some events are invite only and you will be notified by the school typically via email for the invitation

Finally, Graduation is June 10th at the football field (10 AM). For the days prior we will be having grad practices. On 6/8 is Grad Practice & Picnic (9 AM), and on 6/9 is another Grad Practice (9 AM). Reminder to turn in all of your missing Library books to be able to graduate! We’re almost at the finish line!
