Thomas Edward Patrick Brady Jr. Was born and raised from San Mateo California. He is a former National Football League (NFL) quarterback who was in the league for 23 years. For his first 20 years in the league he played with the New England Patriots. People say when they drafted him they were confused. The reason why is that they just re-signed Drew Bledsoe to a big quarterback contract. However, Brady did leave the Patriots for his last three seasons due to contract disputes and disagreements. Brady joined the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and won a Super Bowl in his first season with the team in his first year with them which has never been done before.

Brady’s journey started at Michigan, Brady battled for a starting position there beating out several top tier recruits that they had. In the 2000 NFL draft Brady was selected 199th overall by the Patriots in the sixth round. Brady won his first Super Bowl in 2001 against the LA Rams. Over the next 3 years he won 2 more and they were back to back. Becoming part of an exclusive club who have won back to back Super Bowls. Brady led the Patriots to  17 division winning titles and 13 Conference Championships. Tom Brady won 6 Super Bowls with the Patriots his last one being in 2018 according to ESPN.

Brady holds nearly every major quarterback record. Those records are most completions, most career passing yards, and touchdown passes. Brady is the leader in most wins in the regular season and most quarterback playoff wins. He is one of only 4 quarterbacks to win against all 32 NFL teams.

People consider Brady as one of the greatest players of all time(goat). Many other teams respect his accomplishments and what he’s done throughout the league defying odds and redefining the world of football. Many NFL players don’t play past the age of 27, yet Brady was able to play until he was 45. Through proper diet and training he was able to introduce longevity to his career. Brady has Alex Guerrero to thank for his longevity and minimized injuries on and off the field. Through the work of pliability and static workouts he is able to still be throwing balls down field and look like he was still 20 again.

Like many good things in life, some must come to an end. Brady announced his re-retirement on February 1st 2023. He said this time it would be “for good.” His final season in the NFL wasn’t his best. Brady finished with a losing 8-9 record with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, his first ever losing record throughout his 23 year career. Despite the record, Brady was able to will his team into the playoffs. However they lost to the Dallas Cowboys who were just too much for them to handle. Since they were struggling all year to establish consistent offense.

The Cowboys won the game 34-14.

With Brady’s NFL career over his new one will begin soon. According to ESPN reports he has a deal with Fox. This deal includes broadcasting where he will now be up in the booth covering the game instead of playing. Brady has much more football in his life to go and will give us a new look inside the game.
