SpaceX is a new and booming company that takes space travel to new heights. The organization that was founded by Elon Musk. Musk is already known for his work in clean and renewable energy with Tesla, an electric energy based company. SpaceX is a private company that launches satellites and people to space, including sending them to the International Space Station (ISS). SpaceX’s mission is to explore space and its entirety. According to Elon Musk “I think fundamentally the future is vastly more exciting and interesting if we’re a spacefaring civilization and a multiplanet species than if we’re or not”. 

Musk wants the world to be known that space travel is a key step towards evolution in human society. SpaceX is a partner with NASA and other big space giant companies. SpaceX helps out NASA by delivering satellites and crews to space. They’re partnership is key while trying to explore space. Bill Nelson, a NASA administrator said “You sit down with Elon Musk and he’ll tell you he would not be where he is if it were not for NASA.” 

According to Elon Musk, SpaceX is planning on expanding human knowledge on space and its vast ever expanding world. Musk wants the world to realize that Earth is not a forever sustainable place for humanity.

SpaceX is currently working on plans on traveling to outer space. They currently have several rovers and satellites around mars. Surveying the land and gaining information on how humans can colonize the planet in the near future.
