This year at Timberlane High School they have introduced a number of new teachers. Included in this addition is Ali Roschewski. She is going to be teaching an array of social studies and English classes.

Q: What are some things you like about Timberlane High School?

A: “I really like the community and everybody is supportive, kind and helpful. Also, most of the teachers went to school here so that makes it nice.”

Q:  What made you want to become a teacher?

A: “I enjoy working with kids and young adults. I really wanted to work in mental health but teaching was just a better fit. Seeing people succeed makes me happy.”

Q:What was your favorite subject when you were in school

A: “My favorite subject in school was history. I really like my history teacher senior year. I took a 60’s to Present class and the teacher really made it super interesting.”

Q: What high school did you go to?

A: “I went to York High School.”

Q: Did you play any sports?

A “I did not play any sports, I was actually a music and theater nerd.”

Q: Do you have any pets?

A: “I have a big 85 pound Australian Shepard.”

Hopefully, this small Q&A helps give you some insight on one of the new teachers at TRHS. Be sure to say “hi” and give her a warm welcome into our community!
