TIMBERLANE REGIONAL HIGH SCHOOL – One of the biggest events students at Timberlane Regional High School have to look forward to in their underclassmen years is the Junior semi-formal. Junior semi is one of the first big events a graduating class gets to have together during their time at Timberlane.

Junior semi, usually held in the first week of December has been pushed back to the start of spring this year due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The class of 2022, missed out on this event last year due to the pandemic and now, Timberlane’s class of 2023 is making it possible with a few changes.

Timberlane’s junior class exec., pushed the event back to the spring so that the whole class could be together indoors, dates from outside of Timberlane could come, and the masks could be off. This decision proved to be beneficial as all of these things are now possible. As of February 21, Timberlane went mask optional, meaning students no longer need to wear masks indoors in school, at sporting events, and class events such as semi.

Jake Bilicki, junior class president says that “We took advantage of having semi in the spring by making the theme for this year “Spring Fling”. We have been working extra hard to make this event great for our class since it is one of the first big events since the COVID pandemic.”

Timberlane’s junior semi will take place at the high school Saturday, March 26th from 6-9 PM. Tickets are being sold all the way up until March 25 during lunches. You can purchase one ticket for $50, or two tickets for $95. See a member of the class of 2023 exec for more information!
