This year the Super Bowl was between the L.A Rams and the Cincinnati Bengals. Super Bowl 56 is held in Los Angeles California in SoFi stadium. This football season has been one of the craziest seasons we have ever seen. The Bengals went from one of the worst teams in the NFL to being in the Super Bowl this year. The one big reason why they got there though is because of Ja’marr Chase and Joe burrow. This duo has been unstoppable and they’re both new to the league! Chase was named offensive rookie of the year  and Joe Burrow won comeback player of the year after coming back from a torn ACL his rookie year. These two played at LSU where they won a national championship beating Alabama. 

The Bengals have definity come a long way , but their opponent was definitely more prepared . The L.A Rams also had a good season beating some of the toughest teams in the league. They also have some of the best players in the NFL. Such as Copper Kupp, Matthew Stafford, Jalen Ramsey, Aaron Donald, and a few other stand out players. 

The predictions were saying that the L.A Rams were going to win ,but the way Bengals played they made it anything ,but easy for the Rams to squeak out a victory .  The only way that bengals were going to win is if everyone was on their game like they were in the AFC championship against the Kansas City Chiefs. They were down by almost 20 points and they made a comeback to win the game. 

Also the L.A Rams had one of the best defenses in the league. They had players like Aaron Donald, one of the best defensive tackles in NFL history. The Rams also have Von Miller who’s having a decent season. There’s one player though who can definitely had a hard time shutting down Ja’Marr Chase and his name Jalen Ramsey. Ramsey let up 160 yards in the superbowl.That’s the most yards hes let up in his entire career.  The main problem bengals had was their offensive line, they let up 7 sacks in the biggest game of the season.

The Bengals were really good on offense ,but the Rams just had a stronger and more powerful defense. They also have a way better offense with Cooper Kupp and they also added another weapon a few weeks before the playoffs  Odell Beckham Jr to their roster . These two have been doing really good with Matt Stafford as their quarterback. Cooper Kupp alone has 1,100 receiving yards and Odell has 359 since he’s been traded to the rams. 

At the end of the day, this had to be one of the most hyped Super Bowls of all time .Because they both had horrible seasons in the past and they basically had to rebuild their whole team. The craziest part is that neither of these teams had a first round bye entering the playoffs. Both teams were  in the fourth seed and they were not expected to go far ,but after a hard and bumpy ride they were able to squeak into the biggest game of the year.
