The new hot topic in the makeup industry is the new waterproof mascara produced by L’oreal. For girls it is a daily struggle to do your mascara right. It will either clump, smudge, and when you do get it right it will end up not lasting all day and it looks like there is nothing there. This new waterproof formula is said to last all day long and hold the curl the best. This could change the game in a girls makeup routine. 

What also makes this product so special is the design in the packaging. In other mascara products before applying, you have to remove excess mascara on the brush to grant no clumps while applying. However, the telescopic waterproof mascara completes this step for you with the suction-style bottle opening. This will make sure the right amount of product on the wand without it being too much or not enough. This mascara is designed to have a small applicator brush to get within every corner to give the illusion of longer and fuller lashes. “ This mascara works wonders” says Kamryn Dubois “Makes my eyelashes look very long.”  This wand also has frim and spiky bristles that neatly separate each lash for the best look possible. While other mascara brands have a thick, soft brush that makes it hard to achieve this look.  

The waterproof aspect to this product is a great positive. In a waterproof formula it contains waxes to hold the curl all day that we all try so hard to achieve. ”The waterproof makes a big difference on how amazing your lashes look than the non waterproof mascara.” Said Anna Gleckman, after she switched from telescopic regular mascara to the new waterproof one. However, one negative of this mascara is because of these ingredients it can be difficult to remove at the end of the day. You can’t just remove it with water, like other mascaras but if you saturate a cotton swab with makeup remover and gently rub on the lashes it should come right off.

With this being said, this mascara is so worth it! So many people rave about it and say they have been seeing a difference from their old mascara. With everyone I’ve talked with they have nothing but positive things to say. Just like Mackenzie Mlocek saying “I like the telescopic mascara because it makes my eyelashes stay up all day and makes them look longer than they actually are. Also they don’t give me any clumps.”

I think it would be safe to say to go out and buy this mascara and it really is good as they say!
