The Timberlane Regional High School Owls Basketball team is the sport to watch this winter season.

With a team of starters of Luke Surprenant, Sean Chanakira, Trey Baker, Ethan Stewart, and Evan Roeger, Timberlane Regional High School has a highly competitive team

But don’t forget about the outstanding bench of Joseph Shivell, Nick Morril, Dylan Brandano, Jack Carrubba, Jake Bilicki, Braidon Bowman, and many more.

Their current record is 3 wins and 5 losses with their most recent win as of writing this article against Winnacunnet which had some huge plays and an amazing comeback from 12 points behind in the second quarter.

For the people who never really were interested in watching basketball, now is the time to start. The winter sports season is usually dominated by the Wrestling team and it’s no wonder why but the Basketball games are a whole different type of experience. If you haven’t experienced a player from the team you are rooting for hit a 3 pointer in the fourth quarter and scream so loud that you lose your voice the next day, then you need to go to a Timberlane home game this season.

Joseph Shivell who plays guard says that you can always see the level of intensity of gameplay, like a dog fight constantly. Ethan Stewart who also plays guard believes that every game is worth watching as both teams try to make every game as close as possible.

Trey Baker is the current team leader in points per game with 12.4 points but Sean Chanakira and Luke Surprenant follow close behind with 10.9 and 9.9 points respectively.

If you have the chance to get out and help support the Timberlane Regional High School Owls Basketball team, I highly recommend so.
