Something that we have been hearing for a while now is that corona has affected us all in many ways. From not being able to attend football games to not getting our typical spirit week, I think that it is safe to say that this has been a very disappointing year for the senior class of 2021. However, the year is not over yet. With the spring season approaching, many seniors are very hopeful to have the magical night that is prom. 

The real question at hand is, “will Timberlane be having a prom? And if so, what will it look like?” To the surprise of many, the senior members of the student council are currency working on planning a prom. There are a lot of uncertainties, however there are also a lot of set plans. 

Prom will be on May 22nd and will be an outdoor event on the TRHS Football Field. The arrival time is currently set for 5:30PM for a 6:00PM Prom Walk. The actual prom itself will last from 6:30-9:30PM. Food will be provided in the form of food trucks and there will be several other events and activities throughout the night to make for an amazing experience! 

I sat down with student council member Delaney Miller and asked if she had any further information. She stated that, “The senior exec is currently working on planning the best prom possible for our senior class. We are very excited to put our plan into action and we hope to truly make it ‘A Night To Remember.’ Further details on the theme as well as other smaller details will be released on the 2021 Instagram page within the following weeks.”

All of this information can be found in an email sent out from Mr. Brown earlier this month as well as the 2021 class page on Instagram. As we get closer to the prom, more information will be coming out so make sure that you are following @trhs2021 on Instagram and keeping an eye out for new emails with more updates.
