Career of Tom Brady

Tom Brady is a name that every single person in the Boston area has heard constantly for the past 20 years but in a good way.  Tom Brady was drafted by the New England Patriots with the 199th Pick of the 2000 NFL Draft.  Looking set and rolling at QB the Patriots had Pro Bowl QB Drew Bledsoe who many had confidence in Bledsoe looked to be the next star QB in New England.  With Brady on the bench barring any injuries.

On October 28th 2001, Bledsoe scrambled out of the pocket to the right and got hammered by Jets Linebacker Mo Lewis.  That resulted in a sheared blood vessel for Bledsoe almost killing him according to wikipedia.  Then the Patriots looked to their bench 2nd string QB Tom Brady, Bellichek gave him the start and oh boy did he deliver.  Unfortunately not that game as the Patriots would go on to lose the game 10-3.  But the next game Brady would make his first career start vs Peyton Manning and the Undefeated Colts.  The Patriots blew them out 44-13 in Brady’s first start.  Brady finished the game with 13 completed passes for 168 yards.  That 2001 Season Brady led the Patriots to their first SuperBowl title against the favored St. Louis Rams.

That was just the start for Brady who would go on to win five more Championships with the Patriots earning him the GOAT nickname and proving that he is the greatest to ever do it.  Tom Brady recently left the Patriots to join the Tampa Bay Buccaneers along with former Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski.  Brady and the Bucs are now 7-3 and continuing to add talent to their already stacked roster as Brady continues his journey to championship #7.
