In Plaistow, NH, a new urgent care center recently opened up in July, 2020 on 127 Plaistow Rd. Recently moving its health offices from 24 Plaistow Rd, Plaistow, NH, the $13 million facility is an expansion of Exeter Hospital and Core Physicians. Union Leader Correspondent Jason Schreiber states that the location of the healthcare facility was chosen for accessibility and made an easy landmark for people passing by, being on NH Route 125 and in a busy intersection. The new facility has a lot to offer already and has some future plans set in stone for 2021 and 2023.

According to corephysicians.org, specialists from Core Physicians offer many services in the new healthcare center, including Podiatry, COVID-19 testing, looking into Orthopedic issues, Nutritional advice and counseling, etc. They also have lab services and x-ray available to all patients. Core Physicians state that they have a mobile MRI unit planned to arrive in the future.

Open seven days a week, from 8am to 6pm, the 43,000 ft2 facility offers team-based care, same day appointments, telehealth, online care, in house visits, and is equipped to treat all non life threatening conditions.

With the new healthcare facility being team-based, each team has a primary care physician, a physician or nurse practitioner, a nurse, medical assistant, and care coordinator. Their goal is to give the proper care people need quickly, conveniently, and efficiently. “Our primary goal is to provide convenient, comprehensive health care services to meet the needs of the Plaistow community,” says Mark Whitney, who is the director of strategy for Exeter Health Resources.

So far, the health care center has a four star review from a customer, talking about the whereabouts of the building.
