In my final goodbye as a member of the Hoot writing team I just want to thank everyone for the hard work and countless hours they put into the Hoot to make it what it is today. Through all the hard work that we as a group have put in, one thing stood out: the press meetings that were held. This was an amazing way for the class to hear our ideas. In these meetings we got approval for topics but also got good feedback on how to improve our ideas. This allowed me to learn new perspectives on my idea and look at it from a different angle, whether it was my fellow classmates or Mr. O’Loughlin.
Through my many years at Timberlane Regional High School, I have been able to participate in many different sports teams such as baseball, soccer and basketball along with being in Student Council and Project Hope. Being on these teams in these clubs really allowed me to always have something to write about. Whether it was the upcoming playoffs or the next event that was taking place. Nothing was boring about being a part of this Timberlane community.
With all of the emotions of my career at Timberlane coming to an end, this is not a time to be sad but a time to celebrate. I will be celebrating an amazing 4 years and the lasting positive impact that I have made while being a part of the Timberlane Community and being a member of the Hoot writing team. Thank you
