I would be lying if I said that I enjoyed all of the past 12 years of school, and through a lot of that time I couldn’t wait until it was over. But now that it is going to happen soon, I know that I am going to miss it. I almost want another year of everything. Seeing my friends all in the same place every day, doing sports throughout the years, and those classes that were always fun no matter what because of the people in them.
Even though I didn’t enjoy the assignments and the homework, I know I’m going to miss all of it. High school has helped me grow and I have learned a lot in these past 7 years at Timberlane, but especially high school. These past 4 years will be years that I look back on fondly and will be ones that I always remember. The relationships that I have made with my peers, all the sports that I have played and worked at throughout the years, the things that I have learned from my teachers and coaches. I will remember everything and miss this time of my life.
I would often think about how different my school life would be if I had stayed in Haverhill and went to a high school there. If I would enjoy it better or not or if I would have any more or less success in sports, I cannot say. But now that I have almost finished my time at Timberlane I am glad that I went to school here and met the people I did. With that being said I look forward to seeing what the rest of my life will be like and I am ready for the next chapter of my life.
