For the past four years I have woken up every morning upset that I had to get up early and go to school. Looking back at it, I truly took the time for granted and wished it away far too soon. I have grown as a human, academically and personally. I have made friends with people I never used to talk to. I have messed up, but I have also done well.
High school was by far the coolest 4 years of my life. Waking up early every morning exhausted and going to see my buddies, knowing they were feeling the exact same way, is something I will cherish for the rest of my life. For the past four years I have had many influences within the building, but the three I will miss the most and have taught me the most are Coach Fitz, Mrs. Rochewski and Mr. Kelly. These three people are people I look up to and will try to be like as I go on throughout life.
The biggest piece of advice I could give to any freshman or underclassmen is to truly enjoy the time with your friends and do not stress too hard over little tiny things. I remember my freshman year, being out to dinner and the waiter telling me “enjoy it man cause it flies by” while I was thinking I had all the time in the world. I didn’t take these words to heart, and it flew by quicker than I could ever imagine. I am grateful for the past four years, but am also excited to know that my pals and I are moving on and everyone will be doing new things. Thank you timberlane for all of the memories and lessons.
This past year a has been one of the most fun times of my life.
