After 4 years of high school, 3 years of middle school and 5 years of elementary school, I’m out. It’s bittersweet but it’s something that has to be done.
All the times I didn’t want to go to school, skip sports, and slack in class comes with it. But all the achievements I’ve made throughout the years all made it worth it. Like making it to the electrical program at Pinkerton, being captain of the track team, and doing well in school. Those memories I will not forget. Making new friends along the journey adds onto this experience, because those are friends I will have for a lifetime. Good memories, and even better experiences is what pushed me through the year.
All of this happens for a reason. Sometimes you make mistakes that you wish you never did, but that’s all part of it because you will never learn from the mistakes you made until they are done. Even when those mistakes are made and through, the world will still rotate and nothing will change.
So make those mistakes, live life to the fullest and don’t let anyone change your opinion on something. Because someone will hate it, say it’s a bad idea then you’ll be done with it. But that’s your idea and you think it’s cool and who knows, maybe you’ll make money off of it. That’s what I have to say. Live life and don’t let someone get in your way.
JB out.
