In a summary of the past four years here at Timberlane, there have been thousands of non-directed learning experiences that have shaped me to be who I am now.
Throughout my years here, I have been a different person each year. Going from leaving my emo phase and being shy, to finally getting into my first relationship and having it end. Being quiet and reserved freshman year caused some issues, but led me to meet my best friend who was there for me through it all.
My sophomore year was certainly not good, having struggles with mental health and such. However, that year allowed me to grow close with specific teachers and staff here, as well as finding my friends who truly care for and support me.
My junior year I lost a good amount of friends towards the end of the year, but that helped me realize who will always be there for me, no matter the problem.
Throughout my senior year, I have dealt with breakups, friends leaving me and my car blowing up on the highway. But through all of these situations, I was able to pull through and find the positives, just as I did my past years.
Leaving this high school, I am grateful for the person it has made me, and for the support throughout my time here.
