I don’t really know what I want to say or anything. I have had some really good classes and some classes where I genuinely didn’t want to be here. But it’s still the high school I went to. So I’ll talk about one my favorite classes, World Studies.
I wasn’t exactly interested in the subject itself, but the teachers Mr. Hunter and Mrs. Pellerin made the class exciting and fun to be in even though I wasn’t the biggest fan. I had the class with a couple of friends. We were assigned seats but it was held at random once every month, so sometimes we sat together. But it always held some sort of excitement whenever it happened so either way we had fun. They also gave us a 5 minute break every class where me and my friends would horse around and be dumb. And the teachers would have a quick laugh at us being fools and then promptly tell us to stop before we broke something. But they never yelled at us and genuinely seemed like they cared unlike some. We almost did weekly group projects or we did some games that tied into it.
I think my favorite part of this school was the friends I made here. I say that because my friends have really benefited me in the best way. They don’t smoke or anything like that. They got me into going to the gym, which has changed my life for the better and helped my self confidence. They also helped me get around when I didn’t have a car. They helped me change my life. Instead of staying at home and playing video games I get to workout and ride motorcycles and have the most fun I have ever had in my life. So I am grateful for the school for that.
