Oh my God, it has been some four years in this place. There have been many things that I have had to go through in this place and it was not easy to go through it. The good part about all of the trials and tribulations that I went through was all of the people and friends that I made along the way.
Freshman: Dang what a blur it has been. four years ago my class stepped into this school with bright eyes and bushy tails. Coming into a new place was weird, especially being the new transfer student last year. I was still getting my feet on the ground trying to make some new friends and stop being a shut-in. Until I stopped caring about what people thought and let myself be me.
Sophomore: Oh joy finally not a darn freshman anymore what a relief. Sophomore year is the year that you should be adjusted to everything, have a good group of friends and honestly start to lock in. and that is exactly what happened to me. It is a time that when you go out with your friends you take harder classes that really challenge yourself and just do what you are supposed to. AND another year that you can possibly make Varsity or become the captain or president of a club is the year of improvement to grow.
Junior: AHHHHH the hardest year of the all oh my gosh this is the time to work your butt off for college and really prove yourself. Like the rest of the years you want to show improvement and that you have grown BUT you have to do even better than before and make your mark whether it’s becoming captain, becoming president of your club/ activity, or even just getting an A+ of that test that you have been studying so hard for.
Senior: LETTTSS GOOO, it’s finally time to leave this dang place but now is definitely not the time to go and slack off and go part you still have to focus and lock in. I know of so many kids that have thrown so many of their classes because they are seniors and they “run the school” NO that’s just wrong. Just as you have done all the other years, keep it up the entire way through so you can go off and do ANYTHING that you want to do.
Within the blink of an eye it all went by but not for all, I have some friends that just didn’t care. Yes, there are other careers that don’t require a college education and for that reason you don’t care. BUT, you should still try hard and do your best, like an owl does. No matter what anyone says about this school it will always hold a special place with me just for all of the amazing people and classes that have helped me grow as a person.
Thank you so much Timberlane regional high school
