I have no clue where to begin when saying goodbye. Unlike my fellow classmates I still have another year at Timberlane Highschool.
I would like to take this opportunity to thank my best friends. These two individuals have given me the best high school experience I could have ever asked for. Since second grade they have been my rock, we have been three peas in a pod since then. Every day I come into school and hear drama for my peers, the supposed ‘friends’ always talking behind each other’s back, spreading rumors and just overall being toxic. Somehow at this age that is the standard, two faced dramatic kids. I got luckier than I could have ever asked, my friends don’t get us in drama, we don’t talk bad about each other and I know that no matter what they have my back, even if I’m in the wrong. I am only able to succeed because of them. On hard days they make me smile and are there to listen to everything, no matter how stupid it truly is. The best part of my experience was the neverending friendship I built.
So when I have to say goodbye I would like to thank those who made this a pleasant experience. To Hadley D. and Ella A. I will never owe you guys enough. Thank you for everything.
Goodbye Timberlane, it has been an honor to write for you and I wish the incoming journalism class the best of luck. To all the future news articles, Owls news, and trending stories I hope you have just as much fun as we did.
So one last time, goodbye. This journalist is signing off.
