To Timberlane High School,
Thank you for all of the love and support everyone has given me through the past 4 years. It’s hard to believe that my time here has come to an end.
These past few years have been a journey filled with laughter, growth, challenges, and unforgettable memories. My favorite memory is my American Studies class junior year. It was one of my favorite classes and I loved the teachers. We had many laughs and struggles in that class but it was all worth it.
I wanted to take a moment to sincerely thank Mr. Jennison for the incredible impact you’ve had on my learning and growth. Thank you for always helping me with assignments and being a great teacher. I had him junior and senior year and he has definitely changed my perspective on school and life. Some advice I have for underclassmen is to try and join every club and hang out with your friends out of school. Also that time flies by and you have to remember that in the future you are going to miss being in high school and not having to worry about real life yet.
Some things that I wish were different about Timberlane is using our IDs to get inside the school so it is safer. Changing the bathrooms and making them newer. Having a better system for being absent. And I wish that we had two spirit weeks, one in the fall and one in the spring.
I am going to miss Timberlane so much. I will miss all of the amazing teachers I had and all of my friends and classmates I have been with since preschool and 6th grade. I’ll carry what I’ve learned here wherever life takes me, and I’ll always look back on these years with gratitude.
Love,
Allie Whelan
