The Boston Bruins have a big season ahead of them. Over the past few years they have proved to be strong regular season teams but, lack when it comes to playoffs. With new goalie situations and a new season before them how are they going to perform?
Over the pre-season the Bruins have had some big changes. With a controversial trade to Ottawa the Bruins traded one of their goalies Linus Ullmark. With the trade they received offensemen Mark Kastelic, goaltender Joonas Korpisalo and a 2024 first-round draft pick. As most hockey fans know the Bruins goaltenders Jeremy Swayman and Linus Ullmark had multiple strong seasons together and would split time. With trading away Ullmark lots of people wonder if Swayman will be able to handle the goaltending position all by himself coming from a formerly 2 goaltender team.
The Bruins have been on top of the conference and league for multiple years without any good playoff runs. This year so far in the preseason they haven’t been looking to hot. With a 2-4 record fans worry how the Bruins will compete when it gets to the real deal. If the Bruins can bring it back they will be able to make a good run once they get used to new dynamics.
