Rihanna and A$AP Rocky have kept us all pretty out of the loop regarding their relationship, but the couple has reached a whole new milestone. After roughly 10 months of dating and speculation, the couple announced Monday that they are pregnant and happily preparing for parenthood in a very perfectly calculated paparazzi photo.

These two artists have a lot of history, to say the least. They have supported each other throughout their journey in the music industry, as well as other projects like A$AP’s feature in Rihanna’s Fenty ads. According to Elle News, many rumors started after she broke up with her boyfriend Hassan Jameel back in 2020. Not long after the breakup, the two were seen together often in various areas of LA. A few months into this more serious friendship, they started to become more public with their relations. As 2021 went on, the pair was seen together more and more often, and it didn’t take long for them to go public with their newfound relationship after the media exposure.

In May, Harper’s Bazaar news shared that the possible couple was ensuring that their personal lives and relationships were being kept lowkey and out of the public eye with the exceptions of some paparazzi snaps and occasional interviews. In one of A$AP’s interviews with GQ, A$AP refers to Rihanna as “my lady” as well as “the love of my life” and “the one”. This pretty much solidified the rapper’s new flame. 

Jumping into the later months, the two were seen in public together a lot more, and according to Cosmopolitan News, even accompanied each other at the Met Gala. They made many blunt comments on their feelings for each other, yet they never directly said they were together which left many fans intrigued.

Beyond being captured by paparazzi often, and occasional interviews, the couple was not very public until the big news was released in January. Harper’s Bazaar News states, “She debuted her baby bump in a series of photos taken in the New York City neighborhood of Harlem. She wore a hot-pink vintage Chanel puffer coat, along with body jewelry adorning her stomach and ripped faded jeans.” There have not been many updates since the pregnancy was announced weeks ago, but this new edition to the Hollywood power couples is definitely keeping us on our feet.
