Welcome back Owls! Timberlane Regional High School Student Council is optimistic about the 2021 school year. Let us start off this school year strong. Together.

What’s new? The Student Council has put up moral booster posters along the hallways of TRHS to promote positivity throughout the school. These can be found in all areas of the building. A personal favorite of mine is, “ There are so many beautiful reasons to be happy.” Over the course of the summer, they knew that this was something they wanted to push at TRHS.

Here’s what Student Council President Maria Heim thought of this endeavour. “Student Council wanted to do something safe and welcoming for the first day of in person classes for both cohorts. We hope students have recognized our posters and are excited for an amazing year ahead regardless of our circumstances.”

Looking forward, the Student Council is excited to announce that in light of our current situation we will be looking into having a spirit week in the spring. Although this is not guaranteed we are hopeful that it will be new and exciting. There is a meeting set for all Officers and Executive members on Wednesday 23, 2020 in terms of what it will look like. Do you have any ideas? The Student Council would love to hear from you. Check out timberlanestudentcouncil on instagram for information or to make a suggestion.

As they can not meet in person all meetings are held via zoom. A topic that will be discussed are various fundraising ideas regarding the 2020-2021 school year. Some ideas are possible apparel for purchase. These will be sweatshirts, t-shirts and masks all representing timberlane logos and colors.

We can always count on our community to provide ample support and positivity to both faculty and students. As a community we will face many challenges, but with a positive outlook anything is possible.
