In the Harry Potter films/books, a big part of the characters characteristics is sorted through being in a certain house. These houses normally have certain characteristics that belong to their house. These houses use the purpose of helping form friendships, help with schooling and how their sports teams are made up.  The four house names are Hufflepuff, Ravenclaw, Slytherin and Gryffindor. The Hufflepuff houses characteristics are hard work, loyalty, patience, and justice. Ravenclaws bring intelligence, learning, wisdom and wit. Slytherin being ambition, cunning, leadership and resourcefulness. Gryffindor, which is the main house in the book/films due to the main characters placement, being courage, chivalry and determination.

After reading or watching Harry Potter, many wonder what house they would belong to. This could determine what type of friends they would have at Hogwarts, some of their strong personality traits, and who they would be surrounded by the most. When I took the test, I personally got the Slytherin house even though my family, sister, and friend Lexi Fitzpatrick, got Gryffindor and boyfriend got Hufflepuff. After thinking about it, we were wondering what some of our favorite celebrities belonged to. After some research the answers were easily found as it is a big franchise with many fans.

After looking through multiple websites, figuring out which celebrity  was in which Harry Potter house was easy to figure out as these celebrities confirmed it themselves. The house with the least amount of celebrities in it was Hufflepuff. The three celebrities found were Hailee Steinfield, The Rock, and Ryan Gosling.  

The next house with the least amount of celebrities was Ravenclaw. These celebrities were Sia, Amy Shumer, Natalie Portman, Carrie Underwood, John Krasinski, and Ken Jeong- which makes sense as he is a licensed physician as he is also creative and witty.

 The house of Slytherin had celebrities like Beyonce, Ariana Grande, Kris Jenner, Zayn Malik and his former bandmate Niall Horan. Niall however says he is only in Slytherin because the character Draco Malfoy is and in reality would probably be a Hufflepuff.  The last house,Gryffindor,also has quite a few celebrities. 

This house has bandmates Harry Styles and Liam Payne, along with  former friends Selena Gomez and Demi Lovato. There are also actors that vary from being superheroes like Tom Holland and singers who have taken the world by storm like JLO.

While doing some research I also found out what houses the actual actors belong to. Rupert Grynt  (Ron Weasley)  actually belongs to the house of Hufflepuff as well as fellow actor Mathew Lewis ( Matthew Lewis). However the other Weasley siblings James and Oliver Phelps (Fred and George Weasley) and Bonnie Wright (Ginny Weasley) still belong to the house of Gryffindor. They are also joined by Evanna Lynch (Luna Lovegood). Although Tom Felton (Draco Malfoy)  agrees he would probably be in Hufflepuff, he doesn’t want to take the test as he wants to stay true to Draco and stay in Slytherin. Daniel Radcliffe, who plays the lead Harry Potter, is still a  Gryffindor.
