Mozzarella sticks can be found on the menu at almost all pizza shops and restaurants. They are a popular appetizer, kids meal, and entree. According to Thrillist.com, mozzarella sticks are the most popular appetizer behind french fries. A good mozzarella stick must have the perfect cheese to bread ratio, which can be hard to find. They are best paired with warm marinara sauce. 

Mozzarella sticks are favored by most people, especially by high schoolers. So, you must be thinking, where is the best place to get mozzarella sticks? We surveyed 21 people, with the question of “where is your favorite place to get mozzarella sticks,” we found a winner. With six votes, Applebee’s was the winner, and Atkinson House of Pizza a close second. Anonymous stated, “they have some of the best mozzarella sticks because their cheese is actually stringy. It doesn’t just break or all come out at once.” Although Applebee’s mozzarella sticks may be tough to beat, others have recommended a variety of places. 

If Applebee’s just happens to be too packed that night but you are still craving some mozzarella sticks, a close contender, who came in with five votes, was Atkinson House of Pizza. When asked why they thought this one said, “The batter doesn’t fall apart when eating them.” After that the points dropped dramatically with Danos coming in third with 3 points. In fourth place there was a tie for Acios and Unos. In last place, there was a three way tie between Plaistow Pizza Company, Pasta Loft and the classic ones you make at home that come out of a box in the freezer. This survey can be considered accurate among the High School population because that is where most of the votes originated from. 

So, the next time you want a good piece of golden, stringy cheese, try either Applebees or Atkinson House of Pizza.
